Grand Hyatt Singapore Christmas – MEZZA9

Festive à la carte menu, Christmas Eve dinner buffet and Christmas Day brunch presented by Chef Martin Satow 

In anticipation for yuletide cheer, mezza9 will be serving items from its new festive à la carte menu from 1 to 25 December 2017, including braised ox cheek with port wine, slow roasted turkey breast roulade, plum pudding, and more.

A grand Christmas Eve buffet dinner awaits diners on 24 December, with a glorious spread including signature dishes such as Tasmanian smoked king salmon, slow roasted butterball turkey with all the trimming, steamed yesso scallops with ginger paste, wolfberries and egg white, Jameson whiskey flambéed plum pudding with brandy sauce and more.

Serving a feast of international dishes from the restaurant’s 6 live kitchens, diners can indulge in distinctive Christmas flavours from all over the world during the Christmas Day Brunch on Christmas Day, including Chinese, Grill, Japanese, sustainable seafood, Thai, Western cuisines, and a rich selection of desserts and Christmas cakes from the patisserie.

For Christmas flavours closer to home, StraitsKitchen presents an eclectic buffet menu of authentic local Chinese, Indian, Malay, and Peranakan classics whipped up in Halal-certified kitchens.

In addition to blue swimmer crab meat fried rice, wok-fried tiger prawns in salted egg yolk, Singaporean chilli crab, ayam kalio – traditional slow-cooked chicken in blue ginger gravy, mutton dalcha – mutton curry with lentils, eggplant, carrots and potatoes, sustainable seafood from tandoor oven, other celebratory must-have dishes include slow roasted Christmas tom turkey and a sweet selection of more than 20 delightful local desserts including the locally- inspired pandan log cake.

Celebrate Christmas with a touch of Italy in the rustic trattoria settings of Pete’s Place, and savour hearty Italian fares including salads from the trattoria’s Salad Bar, a selection of classic mozzarella classics, poached sustainable prawns and shucked oysters, slow roasted butterball turkey and stuffed pork loin, and handcrafted wood-fired sourdough pizzas.

Wrap up the Italian dining experience with classic Italian coffee, and festive desserts such as panettone- bread & butter pudding, Narsaka Sabayone with berries and pistachios, and everybody’s favourite tiramisu.

Take delight in the lounge’s selection of sustainable seafood, charcuterie, artisan cheeses, a salad bar, and favourites such as sautéed brussel sprouts and crispy blue swimmer crab cakes. Surrounded by lush greenery, Oasis Restaurant promises diners a poolside Christmas Eve barbecue buffet dinner of jolly good cheer. Meat lovers can tuck into roasted turkey with chestnut stuffing, grain-fed lamb tomahawks, grilled barbecue spice rubbed Charolaise rump cap, and seafood-loving diners can treat themselves to baked whole Norwegian salmon in salt crust, freshly shucked rock oysters and poached Spencer Gulf king prawns. End the evening with sweet treats such as mango coupe, Christmas plum pudding, and more.

Grand Hyatt Singapore Christmas – Santa’s Shop presented by Chef Gottfried Schuetzenberger 

Available from 6 November 2017 to 1 January 2018, Santa’s Shop will offer an extensive selection of seasonal homemade and gourmet treats to create customisable festive hampers and gift boxes. Entire Christmas dinner menus can be personalised for festive celebrations at home, with hearty selections such as spit roasts, cold deli items, bakeries, Christmas roasts, and more.

For the ultimate Christmas meal, mezza9’s sharing menu will make Christmas hosting a breeze with selections that can feed up to ten people. This menu includes breads and dips, a garden salad, a chilled sustainable shellfish platter (Maine lobsters, Spencer Gulf king prawns, black mussels), mezza9 sushi and sashimi variation, a traditional Christmas roast with all the trimmings, and Christmas plum pudding with brandy sauce.

Finally, from the patisserie, an assortment of pastries will include traditional English fruit cake, Christmas plum pudding, mango & passion fruit log cake, chocolate truffle cake made from La Esmeralda chocolates — all of which are sure to raise holiday spirits.
