Experience Hidden Table: Voyage of the Titanic In Singapore What if your next dinner wasn’t just about the food, but a story that unfolded in complete darkness—where every flavour, sound, and scent transported you into another world? Beginning 25 July 2025, the Hidden Table series at Royal Plaza on Scotts returns with its second immersive production: Voyage of the Titanic. Part tasting menu, part theatre, and entirely set in the dark, this unique dining concept invites you to board the R.M.S. Titanic for a four-act sensory journey that reimagines one of history’s most legendary voyages—not through sight, but through touch, sound, and taste. “It is April 10th, 1912…” The experience opens in darkness. A hush falls. Waves begin to crash in the distance. And a voice invites you back to a moment frozen in time: the Titanic’s maiden departure from Southampton. With no visual cues, you become a passenger in a story told through theatrical narration, ambient sound, subtle textures, and curated flavours—each course evoking a chapter in the Titanic’s voyage from hope to history. Select dishes are inspired by the original First Class menu, while other elements may require you to wear, reach for, or hold something mid-meal, encouraging you to be not just a diner, but part of the story. “We call it theatre you can taste,” says Dharmik Kumar, General Manager of Royal Plaza on Scotts. “The darkness dissolves the wall between audience and stage.” The Experience in Four Acts The experience unfolds over four acts, each presented as a different course of the meal. Without spoiling the narrative, guests can expect a blend of historical realism and imaginative expression. Every sound, scent, and ingredient is chosen not only for flavour but for how it supports the emotional arc—from the Titanic’s anticipation-filled launch to its haunting finale. Dates: Starting 25 July 2025 Schedule: Thursday & Friday at 7.00pm; Saturday & Sunday at 11.00am, 1.00pm, 5.00pm, and 7.00pm Venue: Palm Café, Level 5, Royal Plaza on Scotts, 25 Scotts Road, Singapore Price: $98++ per person SG60 Special: A Voyage at $60++ In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, a special SG60 rate of $60++ per person will be offered for a minimum booking of two boarding passes. It’s a timely nod to history, storytelling, and Singapore’s own journey—making this immersive experience even more accessible for curious diners and cultural explorers.
