As Chinese New Year 2026 approaches, Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree invites you and your loved ones to celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse in a setting where traditions take root amid lush greenery. From 2 February to 3 March 2026, Singapore’s only rainforest resort presents a thoughtfully curated festive programme that blends reunion dining, immersive in-resort activities and moments of quiet reflection, all unfolding in harmony with the surrounding rainforest.

Festive Design Shaped by Sustainability and Craft

Staying true to Banyan Tree’s sustainability ethos, the festive centrepiece at the resort takes the form of a striking upcycled cardboard horse installation displayed in the lobby. Handcrafted by in-house crafter Don Lim, the sculpture symbolises strength, vitality and forward momentum, setting a meaningful tone for the Fire Horse celebrations while highlighting conscious creativity.

Flavours of Fortune at Planter’s Shed

At Planter’s Shed, Chinese New Year dining unfolds as a celebration of abundance and seasonality.
