Nonette Paris Returns To Singapore With Bold Bánh Mì & Donuts

Share Article

This July, prepare for a flavour-packed reunion as cult Parisian favourite Nonette makes its highly anticipated return to Singapore. From 2 July to 4 October 2025, Nonette sets up shop at RASA Space in Republic Plaza, bringing its signature blend of French technique and Southeast Asian soul to the heart of the CBD. Whether you crave crispy bánh mì layered with housemade charcuterie or kaya cream donuts with a hint of fleur de sel, this pop-up is about to become your new go-to for bold bites and good vibes.

What is Nonette?

Founded in 2021 in Paris’ vibrant 11th arrondissement, Nonette is a sandwicherie and pastry shop that reimagines bánh mì and French classics with unapologetic Asian influence. Helmed by Singaporean Pearlyn Lee—whose pedigree includes kitchens like Cédric Grolet and Alain Ducasse—Nonette is equal parts cheeky and craft-driven. Everything is made with thought, heart, and just the right amount of humour. It’s not “elevated”—it’s lived-in, bold, and bursting with street-level energy.

The Vibe: Casual Apéro Meets Cultural Playground

Nonette’s residency at RASA Space is more than just a pop-up—it’s a cross-cultural hangout. Known for its Southeast Asian roots and creative programming, RASA is a music, art and culture venue that’s all about community. Together, Nonette and RASA are bringing the apéro spirit of Paris into Singapore’s cityscape, complete with low-intervention French wines, natural snacks, and snackable desserts served to a soundtrack of soul, funk, or whatever’s playing that night.

The Menu: Familiar, Yet Completely New

At the heart of the offering is the Bánh Mì Parisien, reinvented with Singaporean flair. Expect crisp, golden baguettes packed with bold flavours and unexpected textures:

  • Bánh Mì Jambon Beurre ($12): Features housemade char siu, Vietnamese mortadella, jambon, silky pâté and French butter.
  • Vietnamese Fried Chicken Bánh Mì ($12): Crispy Southeast Asian-spiced chicken, with a creamy house sriracha mayo and bright pickles.

The donuts (beignets) are equally worth the hype—think soft, chewy, rich-crumb pastries filled and topped with unexpected hits of flavour:

  • Kaya Donut ($4): Filled with housemade kaya custard, finished with fleur de sel.
  • Chilli Oil Chantilly Donut ($4): Sweet, spicy, creamy, and unapologetically fun.

Other must-tries include:

  • Tau Suan Éclair ($4): French pâte à choux meets familiar dessert comfort.
  • Black Sesame Éclair ($4) and Chocolate Tart ($5): Thoughtful reworks of classic favourites.
  • Singapore Sling Baba ($5): A tropical baba au rhum infused with pineapple, lime, and coriander for herbaceous lift.

Apéro Hour, But Make It Nonette

From 5pm onwards, Wednesdays to Saturdays, Nonette introduces its take on Paris’ beloved apéro culture. The Apéro Box ($19++) offers the perfect bite-and-sip experience, including:

  • 1 Bánh Mì
  • 1 Donut
  • 2 Éclairs

Pair it with a pour from Opi d’aqui—an independent French natural wine producer whose bottles are easygoing, organic, and made for moments like these. Highlights include the citrus-forward Orangeade and the floral, laid-back Poupoule. There is no dress code, no snobbery—just good food and genuine connection, Paris-style.
