Designed as a tribute to the nearby Singapore Botanic Gardens, the space blends indoor intimacy with the feel of a verdant escape. Blush pink and sky-blue seating sits beneath gold accents and sculptural arches. Walls of contemporary art and a sky-hued carpet offer visual rhythm, while the mood strikes a quiet balance between timeless and today. The Summer Garden Afternoon Tea is a thoughtful evolution of the 19th-century ritual once introduced by Caroline Astor at the original St. Regis New York. Here in Singapore, the experience begins with a glass of sparkling tea and your choice of sustainably sourced brews, poured tableside by a trained tea sommelier.

Freshly baked scones are served warm and in abundance, paired with a quartet of artisanal jams and traditional clotted cream. Prices start from $65++ per guest with a glass of Copenhagen Sparkling Tea, or $95++ with R de Ruinart Brut Champagne.
Beyond the afternoon ritual, The Tea Room’s à la carte menu reflects Singapore’s culinary heritage through a refined global lens. Local favourites are reimagined with finesse: Chilli Crab Kueh Pie Tee, Rojak Salad, and an indulgent Lobster Laksa that marries tradition and technique. For dessert, creations like the Calamansi Tart and Pandan-Coconut Tiramisu blend nostalgia with novelty.
To complement the cuisine, beverages are curated with care—Taylors of Harrogate teas, Tanamera’s Arabica brews, and an array of Singaporean craft spirits including Brass Lion Gin, Tanglin Gin, and Compendium Spirits. Each pour honours both taste and terroir.
