The Gundam Base is Bandai Namco’s official retail concept designed to go beyond conventional shopping. At the heart of the Singapore flagship is an immersive environment that blends exhibition, interaction and creativity. A striking 1.8 metre RX-78 Gundam statue in exclusive Gundam Base colours greets you on arrival, setting the tone for an experience that feels closer to a gallery and workshop than a traditional retail space.
Inside, themed Gundam model exhibits trace the evolution of the franchise, while an interactive photo booth invites you to pose against a large blueprint backdrop featuring the fan favourite RX-78-2 Gundam. These visual moments turn the store into a place of discovery, where nostalgia and design appreciation sit side by side.
A dedicated workshop area forms a key part of the experience, especially for those curious about Gunpla building for the first time. Designed to be welcoming and approachable, the workshop space hosts free model-building sessions on weekends, encouraging families to treat the activity as a shared creative moment. The initiative reflects Bandai Namco’s commitment to nurturing imagination and introducing the joy of model building to a wider audience.
The Gundam Base Singapore will be the only location in the country to carry official Gundam Base limited edition Gunpla, making it a key destination for collectors. At launch, the store offers a comprehensive range across Entry Grade, SD, High Grade, Real Grade, Master Grade and Perfect Grade kits, ensuring that both newcomers and seasoned builders are equally catered to.
Among the highlights are sought-after limited editions such as the RX-78-2 Gundam Beyond Global in Gundam Base colours, the Hyaku Shiki Ver 2.0 with mechanical core plating, the Sengoku Astray Gundam in metallic finish, and the Gundam Virtue in clear colour. These exclusives anchor the store’s appeal as a serious collector space while remaining accessible to casual fans.
Located at Jewel Changi Airport, The Gundam Base Singapore is positioned as more than a local flagship.
