One of Singapore’s leading restaurants and bars, offering a distinct dining concept with its Italian cuisines and signature cocktails, Caffé B Valentine’s Day Menu sets the mood for the perfect intimate romantic night of pure extravagance this Valentine’s Day. We recommend that you kick off the evening with a bespoke cocktail or a signature concoction. The elegant bar sets the tone for the beautiful one-night-only menu designed by Executive Chef Masanao Saito.
The kitchen starts off the evening with an antipasto packed with flavours. Spear Squid & Rape Blossoms is served with tosazu jelly, fresh nori seaweed, green gazpacho and amera tomatoes.
The sumptuous flavours combine harmoniously resulting in a delicate light starter. The dish is paired beautifully with Caffe B’s Cupids Cup – a mixture of Kiku-Masamune, home-made palm sugar, home-made tomato juice, fresh cucumber and tomato and gin foam.
The second course is a classic Italian dish with Japanese elements, Spaghetti Vongole with Japanese perila and yuzu zest. This entreé captures the culinary vision of Caffé B – the integration of Japanese elements into a traditional Italian dish. A chilled glass of La Tunella’s Pinot Grigio pairs delightfully with this course.
The next course oozes with the flavours from the sea, a stunning fusion of Grilled Japanese Snapper Poeler paired with soy sauce emulsion, cauliflower purée and crown daisy. Pair this oceanic dish with Il Pollenza’s Brianello, exclusive to Caffé B. The blend of Savignon Blanc and Ugni Blanc brings out the freshness of the produce on the plate.
For the main course, diners are given a choice between two standout dishes. An elegant Roasted Lamb Rack and Rosemary Sauce or a bold and lavish Tenderloin Steak with Truffle Fond de Veal. The Lamb Rack is served with rosemary sauce, eggplant purée with lotus roots couscous ajvar.
The Tenderloin Steak with Truffle Fond de Veal is served with luxurious pan-seared foie gras and potato purée. A glass of Il Pollenza Cosmino, Cabernet Sauvignon, is recommended for both main courses.
End the evening on a sweet note with delectable Lemon Granite with elderflower espuma, white chocolate powder and fresh seasonal berries.
