  • Henry’s Lobster Specials Return With 16 Lobster Creations

Henry’s Lobster Specials Return With 16 Lobster Creations

There are certain dishes you remember long after the meal ends, and for many, Henry’s lobster creations at The Dining Room have quietly built that kind of following. Rich, comforting and unmistakably indulgent, these dishes have returned once again, bringing back a sense of familiarity for those who have tried them before, while offering something new for those ready to discover just how versatile a single ingredient can be. From 1 March to 31 August 2026, you are invited to revisit this collection of sixteen lobster dishes, thoughtfully brought together in one seasonal showcase at Sheraton Towers Singapore.

A Return of Crowd-Favourite Lobster Creations

Following an enthusiastic response from diners over the years, The Dining Room has reintroduced its Seasonal Henry’s Lobster Specials, bringing together sixteen dishes originally launched in stages. This limited-time return allows you to experience a curated selection of the most popular creations, each highlighting the depth, richness and natural sweetness of Maine lobster.

What makes this showcase particularly appealing is not just the variety, but the opportunity to experience these dishes within a single season. Whether you are returning for a favourite or trying them for the first time, the menu offers a complete journey through different styles of preparation, from European classics to Asian-inspired comfort dishes.

Freshness at the Heart of the Experience

At the centre of it all is The Dining Room’s live lobster tank, a detail that reinforces the restaurant’s commitment to quality and freshness. Seeing the lobsters on-site adds a certain anticipation to the experience, knowing that each dish is prepared fresh upon ordering.

From 1 March to 31 May 2026, this approach ensures that every plate delivers optimal flavour and texture, allowing the natural characteristics of the lobster to take centre stage.

A Rich Line-Up of Lobster Dishes from March to May

Available for dinner only from 1 March to 31 May 2026, the first phase of the menu focuses on full, hearty dishes that showcase lobster in a variety of comforting and creative forms. Each dish features a whole live Maine lobster and is priced at S$78.

You can choose from dishes such as Fettuccini Lobster di Peperoni, Baked Lobster Thermidor and Lobster Egg Cocotte, each offering a different balance of richness and texture. Baked Lobster Mornay and Drunken Herbal Lobster bring deeper, more layered flavours, while Lobster En Papillote Ginger Scallion introduces a lighter, aromatic profile.

For something closer to local comfort, options such as Golden Pumpkin Lobster Pao Fan and Lobster White Bee Hoon offer familiar flavours elevated with the addition of fresh lobster, creating dishes that feel both indulgent and satisfying.

A Shift to Lobster Rolls from June to August

From 1 June to 31 August 2026, the menu transitions into a more casual yet equally flavourful selection of lobster rolls, available for both lunch and dinner. Each roll is priced at S$48 and is served with a choice of French fries or potato chips.

The selection spans both classic and inventive flavours. The Signature Lobster Roll offers a straightforward introduction, while variations such as Kampot Pepper Lobster Roll and Singapore Chilli Lobster Roll bring a local and regional twist. For those looking for something more indulgent, options such as Mentaiko Lobster Roll, Black Truffle Lobster Roll and Salted Egg Lobster Roll layer in richer, more complex notes.

The Asian Percik Lobster Roll adds a distinctive spice-forward profile, while the Black Diamond Lobster Roll offers a more premium interpretation, rounding out the eight available options.

A Seasonal Experience Worth Returning For

What makes Henry’s Lobster Specials particularly compelling is the way the menu evolves over time. It encourages you to return, whether to revisit a favourite dish from the earlier months or to explore the different lobster roll creations later in the season. This sense of progression adds depth to the dining experience, making it feel less like a one-time visit and more like an ongoing discovery.

For those who appreciate seafood prepared with care and creativity, this seasonal showcase offers a rare opportunity to experience a wide range of lobster dishes within a single venue. It is indulgent without being overwhelming, familiar yet varied, and thoughtfully paced across the months.

    Plan Your Visit

  • Capital By Zouk Reopens With Redesigned & Immersive Nightlife

Capital By Zouk Reopens With Redesigned & Immersive Nightlife

There are nights out, and then there are nights that feel like they belong to a different era of your life, the kind where the music lingers, conversations stretch into the early hours, and the space itself draws you in. That is the energy Capital is leaning into as it reopens at Clarke Quay, reimagined by Zouk Group as a more intentional, connection-driven nightlife destination, setting the tone for a new chapter in Singapore’s evolving after-dark scene.

A Nightlife Space Designed Around Connection

Reopened on 12 March 2026, Capital returns not just with a refreshed look, but with a clear design philosophy. Instead of overwhelming spectacle, the space is crafted to bring people closer together. Designed by internationally acclaimed creative partners Josh Held Design, every detail has been considered to shape how you move, gather and interact through the night.

The layout spans two rooms with 25 sofas and 12 standing tables, accommodating up to 542 guests comfortably. Gold accents and refined finishes elevate the atmosphere, while the iconic island bar remains at the centre of it all. More than just a place to order drinks, it acts as a natural meeting point, where the night begins and often returns to in between moments on the dance floor.

An upgraded state-of-the-art surround sound system ensures that wherever you are in the club, the music feels immersive and consistent, creating a shared rhythm that ties the entire space together.

A Space That Adapts to How You Celebrate

Beyond the main dance floor, the refreshed Capital introduces a private karaoke room designed for more intimate celebrations. Accommodating up to 25 guests, the space offers a different kind of nightlife experience, one that is less about the crowd and more about your own circle.

With a dry bar that allows for personalised bartender service, it becomes a setting for milestone moments, whether it is a birthday, a farewell gathering or an after-wedding celebration. It adds a layer of flexibility to the venue, allowing you to choose between high-energy nights and more private, curated experiences within the same space.

A Reopening Night That Set the Tone

The reopening celebration on 12 March unfolded as a night of glamour and anticipation. Guests from across Singapore’s social and creative circles arrived dressed for the occasion, walking the navy carpet before stepping into the newly transformed space. Familiar names such as Germaine Leonora, Julie Tan, David Matthew and Raynold Tan were among those present, marking the return of Capital with a strong sense of community.

The evening blended tradition with modernity, beginning with a contemporary lion dance set against a backdrop of champagne. Resident DJs Rattle and Gainzter took over the decks, gradually building the energy as the night progressed. By the time the dance floor filled, the atmosphere had shifted into something electric, setting the tone for what Capital aims to deliver moving forward.

A Weekly Line-Up That Shapes Every Night

What keeps a nightlife destination relevant is not just its design, but its programming. Capital’s opening month introduces a structured weekly line-up that gives each night a distinct identity.

Thursdays are dedicated to Hip-Hop and R&B, offering a more laid-back yet groove-driven start to the weekend. Fridays shift into Open Format and EDM, blending chart-toppers with high-energy tracks that carry the night forward.

Saturdays take on a rotating format, with themed nights that cater to different moods and music preferences. SURGE revisits iconic EDM festival anthems from artists such as Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Zedd and David Guetta. EDITION brings back the golden era of 2000s R&B and hip-hop, while GLAM celebrates female talent with an all-female DJ line-up and exclusive perks for ladies. TOTAL RECALL, a long-standing Capital favourite since 2017, closes out the month with nostalgic hits from the 90s and 00s, inviting you to sing along to familiar classics.

A Glimpse Into Zouk’s Next Chapter

The reopening of Capital is not a standalone moment, but part of a larger transformation by Zouk Group. As Clarke Quay continues to evolve, the group is reimagining its nightlife and dining venues, with a full refresh expected by mid-year. Capital serves as an early preview of this new direction, where nightlife is positioned not just as entertainment, but as a space for connection, creativity and community.

Located at 3C River Valley Road, #01-05 to #02-06, Singapore 179022, Capital sits at the heart of Clarke Quay’s nightlife district. For those planning their next night out, you can explore full programming details and ticketing options at https://zoukgroup.com/singapore/capital/ or follow updates on Instagram at @capitalzouksg.

In a city where nightlife is constantly evolving, Capital’s return feels less like a reopening and more like a reset, one that invites you to experience the night with intention, energy and a renewed sense of connection.

  • Nonyanita Café Debuts Chef X With Delicious Peranakan Creations

Nonyanita Café Debuts Chef X With Delicious Peranakan Creations

Peranakan food has always carried a certain sense of occasion. It is the kind of cuisine often associated with family gatherings, festive tables and dishes that take hours, sometimes days, to prepare. That is why stepping into Nonyanita Café at Chef X feels unexpectedly refreshing. Here, heritage flavours are reimagined into something far more approachable, designed not just for celebration, but for everyday dining. Running from 23 March to 17 May 2026 at Clarke Quay Central, this residency by Chef Jean Tan offers a thoughtful reinterpretation of Peranakan cuisine, one that respects tradition while making it relevant for today’s pace of life.

Where Heritage Meets Modern Café Culture

At its core, Nonyanita Café is a deeply personal concept. Created by Chef Jean Tan, founder of private home dining experience Nonyanita, the café is both a tribute to her upbringing and a continuation of her mother’s culinary legacy. Growing up in a Nonya household, she was surrounded by rich, flavourful dishes prepared instinctively, without written recipes or measured precision. That intuitive style of cooking became both an inspiration and a challenge when she later set out to recreate those flavours herself.

Over the years, through trial, memory and refinement, Chef Jean developed her own understanding of Peranakan cooking. What began as home gatherings and small-scale cooking eventually evolved into a full-fledged dining concept. At Nonyanita Café, that journey takes on a new form, where traditional dishes are adapted into grain bowls, sandwiches, soups and salads that feel familiar yet distinctly modern.

Reimagining Peranakan Classics for Everyday Dining

One of the most striking aspects of the menu is how recognisable flavours are translated into contemporary formats. Instead of the usual multi-dish spread, diners can enjoy Peranakan-inspired meals in convenient, single-dish options that suit both quick lunches and relaxed dinners.

The grain bowls are a clear highlight, bringing together the structure of modern protein bowls with the depth of Peranakan flavours. Each bowl features a rice base layered with proteins, vegetables, herbs and sauces, all carefully paired to create a balanced and satisfying dish. Among them, the Nasi Ulam Grain Bowl stands out not just for its vibrant presentation, but for the labour-intensive process behind it. From finely sliced herbs such as daun limau purut and daun kunyit to toasted coconut and shredded fish, every component is prepared with precision, resulting in a dish that is as complex in flavour as it is visually appealing.

For those who prefer bolder flavours, options such as the Nonya Chicken Curry and Assam or Turmeric Fish Grain Bowls offer a more robust, spice-forward experience while retaining the essence of traditional recipes.

From Home-Style Dishes to Café Favourites

Beyond grain bowls, the café introduces an equally compelling range of sandwiches that reinterpret heritage dishes in an entirely new way. The Chicken Rendang Sandwich takes a familiar favourite and transforms it into a hearty, handheld meal, while the Itek Sio Sandwich offers something more distinctive.

The Itek Sio, a heritage duck dish that is rarely found in most Peranakan restaurants due to its time-intensive preparation, is slowly braised for hours in a blend of spices, tamarind juice and aromatics. The result is tender, deeply flavourful meat that carries savoury, tangy and subtly sweet notes. Encased in a crisp baguette and paired with fresh garnishes, it becomes a dish that feels both indulgent and accessible.

    Light, Comforting and Unexpected Discoveries

The menu also offers lighter options that showcase lesser-known aspects of Peranakan cuisine. The Papaya & Prawns Titek Soup is one such example, a long-lost home-style recipe that combines papaya and prawns in a delicate, aromatic broth. It is a dish that feels comforting yet distinctive, offering a balance of sweetness and savouriness that lingers with each spoonful.

Salads such as the Tempeh Fruits & Nuts Salad and Pecal Prawn Salad further demonstrate how traditional ingredients can be presented in a more contemporary, health-conscious format. Each dish retains its cultural roots while adapting to modern dining preferences.

A Playful Take on Peranakan Desserts

Desserts at Nonyanita Café continue this theme of reinterpretation. The Keluak Cookies are particularly intriguing, transforming the typically savoury buah keluak into a sweet treat with deep, chocolate-like notes. Without the use of actual chocolate or dairy, the cookies achieve a rich, earthy flavour that reflects the ingredient’s natural complexity.

Other offerings such as the classic Sugee Cake and Pulot Hitam with dried longans provide a more familiar ending to the meal, grounding the experience in tradition while still fitting seamlessly into the café setting.

    Plan Your Visit

Nonyanita Café is located at Chef X in Clarke Quay Central, 6 Eu Tong Sen Street, #03-103/104, Singapore 059817. The café operates from Tuesday to Saturday, with lunch service from 11.30am to 2.30pm and dinner from 6.00pm to 9.30pm.

As part of Chef X’s rotating residency concept, this is a limited-time experience running until 17 May 2026. For those looking to explore a fresh take on Peranakan cuisine, it is well worth making a visit before the residency concludes.

The Wagyu Hand Roll follows, combining kaiware, mizuna and uni with delicately crisp Korean seaweed. Bright, crisp textures and oceanic notes wrap around the richness of the Wagyu, highlighting the beef’s natural depth.

A series of nigiri then explores different facets of the Otoro, the fattiest cut of Wagyu. The first Otoro and Wagyu Nigiri is seared and finished on a heated Himalayan salt block, then topped with kizami wasabi, allowing gentle warmth and a clean, sharp lift to balance the richness. The second nigiri features yuzu kosho, where citrus and fermented chilli paste introduce aromatic contrast. The third, an Aburi Otoro and Wagyu Nigiri, is lightly torched and finished with sea salt and sudachi juice, bringing bright acidity to the beef’s unctuousness.

The Wagyu Futomaki with Unagi wraps Wagyu with braised burdock, white asparagus, mizuna and shiitake mushrooms alongside unagi. The roll marries ingredients from mountains and rivers, delivering layered textures and umami rich flavours in a single bite.

To conclude, Seasonal Fruits provide a refreshing close to the Wagyu centred journey.

For those seeking an elevated finish, an optional Mini Wagyu Chirashi in Caviar Tin is available as an add on for $60++, offering a luxurious finale to the omakase experience.

  • Step Into Mandai Wildlife Reserve Exploria Experience

Step Into Mandai Wildlife Reserve Exploria Experience

Imagine standing beneath towering dinosaurs, feeling the force of a monsoon storm, and peering into microscopic worlds that quietly sustain life, all within a single day, because from 3 March 2026, Exploria opens at Mandai Wildlife Reserve as one of Southeast Asia’s largest indoor, nature themed multimedia attractions, spanning 10,000 square metres and inviting you to uncover the invisible systems that hold our planet together.

A New Dimension of Nature at Mandai

Exploria is designed for visitors of all ages, with a particular focus on teenagers and young adults, blending real-world footage with science-led storytelling. Through immersive architecture and responsive media, you are transported into extraordinary environments that are rarely accessible to humans, ranging from prehistoric eras and extreme habitats to microscopic ecosystems and the depths of ocean darkness.

Your journey begins at Our Interconnected World, the central hub of Exploria. At its heart lies the Biopool, anchored by a four metre LED globe that pulses like a living heartbeat, symbolising the interconnectedness of humans and nature. As you explore, your actions send visible pulses of light to the globe in real time, reflecting how small individual actions combine to create meaningful change. The globe comes alive during The Planet Awakens, Exploria’s signature light and sound spectacle, filling the space with synchronised projections, dynamic colours and rhythms that capture the energy of the five worlds that await.

    Five Immersive Worlds, Five Perspectives

In Realm of the Giants, prehistoric life towers overhead. Monumental installations and augmented reality windows bring ancient landscapes to life, placing you face-to-face with Mesozoic dinosaurs and colossal sea creatures that once ruled the Earth. The centrepiece, The Giants Show, is an eight-minute, 360-degree standing theatre experience that sweeps you through 500 million years of life, from the rise of the earliest giants across land, sea and sky to their dramatic extinction.

Micro Worlds shifts your focus to life at vastly different scales. Interactive glass orbs and projection domes magnify plankton, insect colonies, fungi, and bacteria, revealing ecosystems that are usually hidden from the naked eye and demonstrating how these tiny organisms quietly sustain life on Earth.

At Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers, you are transported into some of the planet’s most challenging environments through virtual expeditions and simulator rooms. From polar bears navigating melting Arctic ice to Namaqua chameleons thermoregulating in arid deserts and demoiselle cranes migrating at high altitudes, the experience offers a visceral glimpse into habitats few humans encounter firsthand. A desert simulator recreates an arid habitat heated to 40 degrees Celsius, heightening the realism of the encounter.

Infinite Wonderland celebrates the biodiversity of rainforests and coral reefs through layered multi sensory details, where wildlife emerges from dense foliage and vibrant reefscapes. In contrast, World of Darkness uncovers life without light in caves and the deep ocean, highlighting the remarkable adaptations of bioluminescent vampire squids, eyeless yeti crabs and blind cave fish.

    Interactive Play and Personal Discovery

A Radio Frequency Identification wristband enhances your visit with personalised interactivity. You can create a digital avatar, activate installations and earn species badges as you engage with responsive media features. A live scoreboard in Exploria’s exit tunnel tracks your progress, and your profile remains active for a year, encouraging friendly competition and repeat visits as you continue to collect badges and build achievements over time.

Hidden Gems are embedded within the physical environment, unlocked by scanning your wristband at specific spots, rewarding close attention to your surroundings. Each world also features Memory Hooks, unique photo stations that can be unlocked to capture moments from new perspectives. Along the way, you may encounter Disruptive Moments, powerful narrative interludes that spotlight conservation messages and invite you to pledge your commitment to protect nature and wildlife.

    Tickets, Timings and Opening Bundles

Exploria opens on 3 March 2026 and operates from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays, and until 9:00 pm on weekends and public holidays. Standard admission is priced at S$38 for adults and S$28 for children and students.
