There are performances that entertain, and then there are those that quietly stay with you long after the curtain falls. Returning to Singapore from 15 July 2026, Slava’s Snowshow invites you and your loved ones into a world where imagination leads, words fall away, and emotions take centre stage. Presented by Base Entertainment Asia at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, this Olivier Award-winning production offers a rare kind of theatre that feels both playful and deeply poetic.
Created by Slava Polunin, widely regarded as one of the greatest clowns in the world, Slava’s Snowshow unfolds without dialogue. Instead, it speaks through movement, music and visual spectacle, guiding you through moments of silliness, tenderness and quiet reflection. The absence of language makes the experience universal, allowing every person in the audience to find their own story within the performance.
From the first flicker of light on stage, the show draws you into a dreamlike landscape. Gentle humour gives way to bursts of laughter, while moments of stillness invite introspection. Giant balloons float across the theatre, delicate webs of white thread stretch into the audience, and swirling snowstorms transform the space into something utterly magical.
At its heart, Slava’s Snowshow is a celebration of childhood, not as an age, but as a state of mind. It reminds you how it feels to be curious, vulnerable and open to wonder. The performance balances mischievous humour with moments of unexpected tenderness, creating a rhythm that feels both joyful and deeply human.
One moment you may find yourself laughing at playful antics, the next you may feel a quiet tug at the heart as a simple scene unfolds with surprising emotional weight. This gentle emotional arc is what has allowed the show to resonate with over 12 million people across more than 225 cities worldwide.
Since its world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival in 1996, Slava’s Snowshow has toured extensively across 40 countries, earning more than 20 international awards along the way. These include the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, a Drama Desk Award, the Triumph Award and a Tony Award nomination. Its return to Singapore follows acclaimed seasons in 2012 and 2022, reaffirming its place as one of the most beloved theatrical experiences to grace the local stage.
What makes the show timeless is its ability to speak across generations. Whether you are watching with children, parents or friends, each person experiences the performance differently, shaped by memory, mood and imagination.
Slava’s Snowshow will run at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, from 15 July 2026. Performances take place on Wednesdays to Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 3.30pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 11.30am and 3.30pm. The show runs for approximately 110 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission, offering a relaxed yet immersive theatre experience.
Tickets are available through Marina Bay Sands Ticketing, SISTIC and Klook. A range of early bird promotions are available for a limited time, including UOB partnered offers and public early bird discounts, with savings of up to 20 percent depending on the platform and booking period. Dynamic pricing applies, and ticket prices vary across seating categories, including Snow Zone options that bring you closer to the action.
Slava’s Snowshow is not just a night at the theatre. It is an invitation to step into a shared dream, where snow falls indoors, time softens, and emotions are felt without explanation. When it returns to Singapore in July 2026, it offers you and your loved ones a chance to experience theatre in its purest form, playful, heartfelt and unforgettable.
