Glutinous rice is stir-fried with five-spice powder and black soy sauce for fragrance and flavour, then generously filled with marinated pork belly, fresh pork fat, salted egg yolk, black mushroom, black-eyed pea and chestnut.
Those seeking a healthier – yet no less flavourful – experience would enjoy the vegetarian Truffle and Trio Mushroom Five-grain Rice Dumpling (松露三菇五谷素粽, S$16 nett). This aromatic creation consists of five-grain glutinous rice, truffle paste, fresh king oyster mushroom, fresh shiitake mushroom, arisaema tubes fungus, chestnut and plant-based meat.
Perfect for sharing, the Traditional Hong Kong-style Abalone Treasure Rice Dumpling (港式 鲍鱼裹蒸粽, S$48 nett) is a sumptuous parcel of premium ingredients: Two pieces of South African Ten-head abalone, roasted duck, roasted pork belly, dried scallop, lotus seed, salted egg yolk, black mushroom, mung bean, dried shrimp, fresh pork fat and chestnut, encased in glutinous rice.

The eye-catching Blue Pea Nyonya Rice Dumpling contains a classic combination of minced pork, candied winter melon and mushroom, while natural dye extracted from butterfly pea flowers lends its distinctive indigo hue. The Hae Bee Hiam with Winter Melon Rice Dumpling instantly awakens one’s taste buds, pairing umami-rich spicy dried shrimp with candied winter melon for a balanced finish.
