Mother’s Day 2021 – Posh Upscale Gourmet Feast

Pamper Mum with a hearty four-course set lunch ($118++) at an award-winning steakhouse, Bedrock Bar & Grill! Kick-off the celebration with a decadent Lobster Saladfeaturing a sweet lobster tail tossed with ice plant leaves and tangy heirloom tomatoes in an apple tartare sauce. Next, savour delectable mains that include Poached Barramundi accompanied by a creamy oyster stew; and the Wagyu Rib Cap Steak that is prepared over an authentic Applewood grill, and enhanced by a fresh lemon herb sauce. End off the meal on a sweet note with a delightful Strawberry Tart.

Tablescape presents a thoughtfully curated four-course set ($68++), with toothsome delights such as tender Octopus, fresh Seabass, hearty Gnocchi served with a sauce comprising tinati and aged Parmesan, then balanced with a handful of bitter rocket, and a lightly bittersweet Green Tea cake. As a delicious extra, every table of 4 will be gifted a plate of mignardises – compliments of Tablescape. For a nostalgic Italian touch, Zafferano offers a four-course menu ($88++) inspired by Head Chef Andrea De Paola’s deep affection for three important maternal figures in his life. The menu takes on Chef’s renditions of classic Italian dishes such as melanzana – a tribute to Chef’s nonna, flavoursome spaghetti with rich monkfish ragout and peppery rucola pesto – the first dish cooked by Chef for his mother; and merluzzo, a classic Tuscan fish stew for his mother-in-law.

Fat Cow presents a luxurious Mother’s Day set lunch menu ($99++), featuring familiar flavours such as Chawanmushi, Miso Soup and Sashimi Moriawase. The spread also presents a premium Miyazaki Wagyu Steak, a vegetable medley of Yasai Seiro Mushi, Tempura Moriawasa and their signature Fat Rice – flavoursome Japanese rice cooked in Wagyu beef fat. The meal is finished with a rich Burnt Basque de Cheesecake, served with a refreshing side of seasonal sorbet.

Mother’s Day 2021 – An Asian Touch

Embark on a journey of Japanese flavours with LeVeL33’s Mother’s Day offerings! Available as either a-la-carte orders or as a three-course set ($66++), indulge in delicious items such as Salmon Belly Sashimi ($18++ as a-la-carte order), served alongside a soy and ginger dressing, finished with shaved konbu and horseradish; and Spent Grain Linguine with Pan-seared King Prawns ($42++ as a-la-carte order), with housemade spent grain linguine, salmon roe, sakura prawn and shio kombu. Finish the meal with a dessert of Layered Honeycake ($15++ as a-la-carte order), with sides of strawberry chocolate and sour cream snow.

If a taste of Chinese cuisine is what you’re looking for, don’t miss out on Yàn’s Mother’s Day set menus. The first set with six courses ($88++ per pax) is perfect for a date with Mum, featuring nourishing fare such as Double-boiled Peru Maca Soup with Sea Whelks and classic Roasted Duck and BBQ Honey Pork. For a celebration with the whole family, Yàn offers an eight-course feast ($128++/pax), featuring items such as Yàn Peking Duck and Braised Ee Fu Noodles with Lobster Meat. Also available exclusively for Mother’s Day is the Bundle of Joy Spring Chicken ($100++), which features braised spring chicken stuffed with 6 head whole abalone, quail eggs, roasted pork belly and black mushrooms.

Speaking of Chinese cuisine, Min Jiang and Min Jiang at Dempsey present exclusive Mother’s Day set lunch and dinner menus (from $88++ per pax ) to share with your loved ones. Diners can anticipate Longevity ‘Char Siew’ Buns with compliments from the restaurants, and dishes like the Steamed Sea Perch in Light Soya Sauce with Black Fungus and Golden Mushroom. Desserts include a specially created Chilled Chendol Panna Cotta, and Watermelon Juice with a hint of Vodka and Mint, with a non-alcoholic alternative available.

Put a smile on Mum’s face with a comforting spread of sumptuous Thai favourites from Blue Jasmine (from $98 nett for a family of 4). Tantalise Mum’s tastebuds with the mouth-watering Minced Chicken with Peanut Pink Sago Ball and Green Mango Salad with Gooseberry. For a kick of spices, don’t shy away from the Tom Yum Red Seafood Soup, made with kaffir lime leaves, galangal, lemongrass, chilli padi and tom yum red chilli paste. Experience Tablescape’s refreshed Afternoon Tea set ($68++ for dine-in; $68nett for takeaway and delivery) with a plethora of delicious dainties created to surprise and delight. New sweet treats include a Velvet Cheese Mousse, Almond Torte, and Chocolate Hazelnut Éclairs. New savouries include Foie Gras, Nectarine and Pistachio Tartlet and a daring Sable Bréton bite topped with bresaola, crème fraiche and gherkins. Regulars, fret not: the dramatic #apple&rosemarytart remains on the menu, as well as the delicious house-baked array of scones, Sesame Brioche and the flavoured house-churned butters.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with A Royal Afternoon Tea Set ($80++ for dine-in; $70+ for delivery, good for three persons) from The Marmalade Pantry. A Mastercard exclusive, the inviting set features the refreshed version of their signature offering that has new additions such as the Spicy Crabmeat Dip with Fried Mantou; and perennial favourites like cupcakes and buttermilk scones. Along with the tea set, enjoy a Hokkien Noodle or choice of pasta with options including Seared Scallop and Prawn, and Marmalade Mac & Cheese. To complete the afternoon affair, sip on a tea of choice from homegrown brand Monogram Tea and three glasses of De Bortoli Emeri Pink Moscato Sparkling Wine.

The Rose Veranda presents a sophisticated three-course high tea ($78++ for 2 diners from 1 to 7 May, and 10 to 31 May. $88++ on 8 and 9 May) for a classy Mother’s Day celebration. The afternoon begins with a variety of savoury sandwiches, like Tian of Avocado and Classic Egg and Ham with Truffle Pressed Panini. The choice of main course highlights tantalising options such as Poached Salmon Roulade or the succulent Grilled Chicken. End off on a high note with a 3-tiered dessert stand brimming with sweet surprises – including House Baked Vanilla & Rose Infused Scones.
