Experience the tantalising ‘Tastes of Taiwan’ all-you-can-eat-buffet at Peppermint from 6 October until 12 November 2023, where Peppermint’s Chef de Cuisine Leon Yee collaborates with Chef Alan Ho, the newly appointed President of Taiwan Chefs Association, to introduce a repertoire of Taiwanese classics and popular street food in Tastes Of Taiwan Buffet.

The Tastes Of Taiwan Buffet collaboration marks Chef Alan’s first international showcase since his appointment as President of Taiwan Chef Association in early 2023, and it is truly an honour for Chef Leon and his Culinary Team to work alongside Chef Alan to showcase his culinary expertise beyond the borders of Taiwan. Chef Alan brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep cultural understanding of the Taiwanese cuisine, honed through his years in the food and beverage industry. His experience includes serving as a culinary consultant at prestigious five-star establishments, holding executive chef positions at renowned hotels, judging at culinary competitions on a global scale, and teaching at esteemed Taiwanese universities. Currently, he oversees the Ministry of Taiwan’s Labour Skills Certification in Western Cooking, holds the position of Associate Chairperson of Jinwen University of Science and Technology in the Department of Food & Beverage, and serves as a Worldchefs Certified Continental Judge.

Taste his renditions of authentic Taiwanese classics and beloved street food, which will be served alongside Peppermint’s renowned international buffet offerings.
